After high school I went to U of WI-Platteville where I mostly partied, had a college radio show & finally graduated in 1974. I then went to U of Iowa where I graduated with an MSW degree in 1983. I moved to Boston, MA to do my internship at an international development agency called Oxfam-America. I went back to school again and received a MPA degree from Suffolk University in Boston, MA. I've worked in the field of Human Services for over 25 years now. I work for USDA Food and Nutrition Service in Boston overseeing the federal Food Stamp Program. I have been married to Patricia since 1983 and have 2 sons, Phil is 20 (2nd year of college), and Tim is 15 and is a sophomore in high school. I can't retire until I'm 90!
